The approach we're taking to allowance in our...
schnitzelboy: The approach to our daughter’s weekly allowance was inspired by what my friend Sam and his family recently started - so he gets full credit for the idea.  Each week, she’ll divide her earnings equally into three jars: one each for saving, spending & tzedakah (charity).  First payday is this Friday. :-)
